Wiarton, only 10 minutes South, provides for all necessities with a Foodland, Tim Hortons, restaurants, ice cream shop and Home Hardware. Lion's Head is 20 minutes North and provides a scenic view!
BOAT LAUNCH
Motorized boats are permitted on Berford Lake. The launch is located at Roth Park Campground on the South side of the lake.

Enjoy the sandy shores of Berford Lake Park, Singing Sands and Sauble Beach all on the Peninsula!
HIKING TRAILS
Enjoy incredible nearby hiking on the Bruce Trail, Craig's Caves, Bruce Cave's Conservation Area and Spirit Rock Conservation Area.
CYPRUS LAKE
It's hard to believe this stunningly beautiful spot is in Ontario. The Grotto at Cyprus Lake. Reserve parking online to get a spot. It's worth the drive and hike in.
FLOWERPOT ISLAND
Another beautiful spot in Ontario is Flower Pot Island. You can only get there via boat in Tobermory so prebook your spot. It's a stunning part of the Peninsula!
CENTENNIAL PARK
This hidden little gem is our secret to share with you. Take a drive to the Georgian Bay side of the peninsula, take the steep driveway down and you'll find everything you need for a beautiful day on the blue waters of Lake Huron. Pavilion, washrooms, garbage disposal, picnic tables, and a rock shore perfect for skipping stones and making stone towers in the water! Finish the day with a jump off Big Bay Pier and Ice Cream before heading back to the cottage.
